Today everybody I running in the race of getting job. Also we cannot deny the facts that there are many job opportunities are available in public and private sectors. However, people prefer jobs in government services. But today banking sector is also rising with lots of jobs for different positions. Banking jobs are offered by almost all banks all over India. Banks conduct entrance exams for different post. The exams are conducted in two ways i.e. common entrance exams or separate entrance exams. State bank of India and IBPS are the two biggest and most popular organizations which conducts banking exams on behalf of many other banks. The most popular exams of banking sector are SBI bank PO, SBI Specialist Officer, IBPS, Union Bank of India Recruitment, Bank of Baroda, Indian Bank,  SIDBI Bank, Kerala State Co-operative Bank,National Housing Bank, Reserve Bank of India.

Banking Exams and their details

  1. SBI bank PO

State bank of India provides many opportunities for graduate students and also for working professionals. The exam is conducted on the behalf of 200 banks. The exam is conducted in three parts. The first part is prelim in which a computer based test is conducted with less difficulty level. If the person has cleared the prelims then he is eligible for second part of the exam which is mains. The difficulty level is high in mains as compared to prelims. After clearing the prelims exam final interview round will be conducted this will be a face to face round. A person should hold a graduation degree to be eligible for SBI bank PO entrance exam. The age limit to apply for the exam is between 21 to 30 years.

  1. SBI Specialist Officer

State bank of India conducts entrance exam on behalf many bank. SBI Specialist officer exam is conducted for various post like chief medical officer, manager, chief economist, Assistant manager, deputy manager, Junior management grade scale I etc. The registration for the exam can be done online. You need to have a bachelor degree in the discipline you are applying for. The age limit shouldbe 21 to 30.

  1. Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS)

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts exams on behalf of many other banks for recruitment of Probationary Officers and or Management Trainees, Specialists Officers, Office Assistants (Multipurpose), Officers Scale-I, II & III),Clerical Cadre,Specialist Officers 5, and more. You need a Bachelor’s Degree from UGC Recognized University or Institution in any discipline.Candidates can also eligible for Local Language Knowledge – Local Language as a subject in 10th Standard or 12th Class level.

 

 

 

 

 

 

  1. Union Bank of India Recruitment

Union bank of India recruits candidates for various posts in union bank.  Some designations you can apply for are Chief Security Officer, Deputy General Manager (Law), Manager (IT) – Oracle Database Administrator, Manager (IT) – Base 24 Switch-Coding/ Testing/ Management, Manager (IT) – System Administrator (windows), Manager (IT) – Information/Cyber Security, Manager (IT) – Digital/Cyber Forensics, Vice President Marketing. For each position the eligibility criteria is different as you need graduation degree in the appropriate discipline.

 

  1. Bank of Baroda

Bank of Baroda conducts exams  for recruitment of Sub Staff, Specialist Officers (SO), Credit Analysts (Chartered Accountants), Finance /Credit, Trade Finance, Treasury, Risk Management, marketing, planning, economist, Law, Information Technology, HRM, Security, Fire, Electrical engineers / Civil engineers / Architects, Official Language (Hindi).The selection process will comprise of online written test, in the discipline of Fire and Planning, followed by GD/Interview of the shortlisted candidates.Interested Eligible Candidates are required to Apply Online through Bank of Baroda Online Recruitment Portal.

  1. Indian Bank

Indian bank conducts exams for recruitment ofProbationary Officers (PO) and clerical level jobs. You should have Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University OR any equivalent qualification as such recognized by Central Government. The selection process consists of an online test which has two levels prelims and mains which is followed further by an interview round.

  1. SIDBI Bank

Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) conducts recruitment exams for various posts. The posts are Chief Treasury Officer (Forex), Treasury Officer (Forex), Deputy Treasury Officer (Forex), Consultant, Assistant Manager – Grade ‘A’ Security, Private Secretary – Grade ‘A’, Manager – Grade ‘B’ Premises -Electrical Engineer, Manager – Grade ‘B’ Economist, Consultant (Merchant Banking). The selection process consists of an online test shall be of objective type and in Hindi and English except for the Test of English Language. After that for some post there will a group discussion and interview round else only interview round will be conducted. For eligibility a student should be holding a graduation degree in appropriate discipline.

  1. Kerala State Co-operative Bank

Kerala Public Service Commission (Kerala PSC), Government of Kerala State conducts recruitment for various positions in Kerala state government. Some posts are Lower Division Clerk / Village Assistant, LAST GRADE SERVANT – EX-SERVICEMEN ONLY – NCC / SAINIK WELFARE DEPARTMENT, Accounts Officer, branch manager, accounts officer etc. Eligible candidates must register as per “One Time Registration” through Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) Website.

 

 

 

  1. National Housing Bank

National Housing Bank recruits talented and committed professionals for various positions. The names of some vacancies are Assistant Manager (AM), Assistant General Manager (AGM), Deputy General Manager (DGM), Chief Finance Officer (CFO), Manager (Premises). You need a Degree/ Diploma from a recognized Technical Institution/ University, preferably in civil or electrical engineering.

 

  1. Reserve Bank of India

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) conducts exams for recruitment of Grade B officers and Assistant post. You need minimum of 60% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PWD) or equivalent in Bachelor’s Degree as well as in 12th and 10th standard examinations to apply in RBI.

You can apply for these exams by online mode and offline mode. Offline forms can be taken from any shop where job forms can be purchased. Online mode forms can be filled by applying on the official site of the respective banks.

Eligibility and Exam Pattern

You need a graduation degree for applying for all most all exams of banks. In some higher level positions experience is also required. Exam pattern is similar in all banks exams. There is a online test which has two phases prelims and main which is followed by interview round. N some bank Group discussion is also conducted.
